We are writing to let you know of a situation that occurred today at Avon Middle School this afternoon. Unfortunately, a student was in need of additional help and support today. Fortunately, our emergency responders partnered with school personnel and the student's family to provide the student with the help that was needed. The student was transported by ambulance to the hospital for additional care.
This incident created a minor disruption to the school day, so there may be rumors. As in most cases, the rumors are not helpful. Out of respect for the privacy of those involved, we are not able to share any additional information.
