This past weekend our community experienced a traumatic event involving a structure fire that has had a widespread impact on many families.  Upon learning of the event, our Trauma, Illness, and Grief (TIG) team met to gather facts and to coordinate the District's response efforts.  The purpose of a TIG team is to provide leadership to the school community regarding trauma, grief, and loss.  Our TIG Team met yesterday and again today. As a result of our efforts and in coordination with our Crisis Plan, we want to provide the community with resources to support students as they navigate their emotional response to this event.

We will continue to monitor and support our students. Please contact your child's principal if you have any questions or concerns.
