• AFS student to Avon, hosted by Glenn and Jean Webb in Ashantee on the Conesus Farm.

• Returned to Avon from the Netherlands in 1968 to become a citizen of the United States.

• Married since 1969 to Aartje VanEssen (Avon class of 1965); 2 married children and 5 grandchildren.

• Graduated from RIT nightschool in 1969; retired from 33 years at HSBC in 2002; and is presently working for Community Bank in Mount Morris as branch manager.
