Bankruptcy judge talks financial literacy with high schoolers

Many thanks to John Ninfo for coming to Avon yesterday to speak with Mrs. Lydia D’Amato’s high school financial management students about his experiences as a bankruptcy judge.
Ninfo, who’s now retired, founded the Credit Abuse Resistance Education, or CARE, Program, a personal financial literacy education outreach program to provide students with his unique knowledge, experiences, and stories, as well as personal finance lessons, tactics and techniques that will help them lead a financially responsible, consumer debt-free life.
A worthwhile conversation at ANY age, but especially a young one.
Thanks again, Judge Ninfo!
