Our varsity flag football squad headed west last week to participate in the Buffalo Bills Flag Football Kickoff!

The annual event drew nearly 70 teams from across the region to the Buffalo Bills Fieldhouse this past weekend to compete in scrimmages against other flag teams.

Our squad traveled to Buffalo Friday afternoon for scrimmages against Iroquois, Akron-Alden, Niagara Wheatland and Lewiston-Porter. The Hawks got some good, quality reps in (and put up some solid stats) as they embark on their 2026 campaign. 

• Aiyanna B: 3 flag pulls, 1 pull for loss, 1 sack

• Bridget R.: 1 pull, 2 receptions for 14 yards

• Mya N.: 1 pull, 1 catch for 7 yards

• Olivia C.: 5 pulls, 9 catches for 64 yards, 7 carries for 40 yards

• Sophia D.: 4 pulls, 5/10 passing

• Olivia S.: 1 pull, 1 pull for loss, 19/42 passing, 7 carries for 28 yards 

• Zoie C.: 6 pulls, 1 sack

• Maggie S.: 6 pulls

• Olivia W.: 5 pulls, 1 interception, 1 catch for 15 yards

• Megan K.: 2 pulls, 1 pull for for loss, 1 interception, 3 catches for 40 yards, 2 carries for 25 • yards 

• Rylee N.: 2 pulls

• Brielle M.: 4 pulls, 1 catch for 8 yards 

Our girls are next in action Tuesday, April 14 against Canisteo-Greenwood at home.
