Join us in congratulating Westley P., our Board of Education’s Art & Music Award winner for the third quarter of the 2025-26 school year!

Westley is a fourth grader in Mrs. Mackenzie Stickel’s class down at Avon Elementary. He was nominated by his art teacher, Ms. Emma Kostraba, and presented with his award at our board’s March 23 meeting. 

“Westley is a very talented artist and a wonderful role model in his class. He consistently demonstrates creativity, dedication, and a strong work ethic in every project he completes. He takes great care and pride in his artwork, always going above and beyond what is expected,” said Kostraba. “What makes Westley especially deserving of this award is not only his artistic ability, but also the way he supports those around him. He is kind, encouraging, and always willing to help his classmates. He leads by example through his positive attitude, hard work, and respect for others.”
