Shout out to senior Maria G., who scored the 1,000th point of her varsity basketball career Friday during the River Hawks’ 61-27 win over Geneva on senior night! 

Maria is just the third Avon girls basketball player to eclipse the 1,000 career points mark - and to do it on senior night? Incredible.
