Our trap and skeet team wrapped up its fall trap season in the New York State High School Clay Target League in fine form earlier this month. 

As a team, our trap squad finished first in Conference 7 while also boasting several impressive individual achievements. 

Avon’s own Jameson H. and Geneseo’s Timothy F. tied for first individually, averaging 23.1/25 targets shot per round over the course of the season. Avon’s Jake S. was close behind as he took 4th in the conference with an average of 22.9/25. 

Statewide, Jameson and Timothy tied for 32nd while Jake came 43rd. 

Other highlights from the fall trap season include: 

• Jake S. shooting perfect, 25/25 rounds during reserve week, week 1 and week 2.

• Jackson L. shooting perfect rounds during weeks 3 and 5. 

• Timothy F. shooting a perfect round in week 4.

• Jameson H. shooting a perfect, 25/25 round in week 4 and a perfect round of 50 straight in week 5.
