Our varsity cheerleaders hosted a youth cheer camp earlier this month, welcoming 22 energetic participants from PreK through 6th grade for three days of skills-building! 

Campers were divided into two age groups — 3–5 year olds and 7–11 year olds — and spent the three days learning cheers, dance routines, jumps and stunts. 

On the final day, family and friends gathered to watch the young athletes showcase their skills in a spirited mini routine, highlighting all the hard work they’d put in.

“We had so much fun and truly enjoyed watching the bonds form between our future cheerleaders and our current team,” said Varsity Cheer Coach Lyndsay Herkimer. “It’s so exciting to see their confidence grow and to know the future of Avon cheer is bright.”
