WATCH NOW: Game Day Cheerleading 'Walk of Champions

Send some good vibes our varsity cheer squad’s way this weekend as they head to Hudson Valley Community College in Troy to compete in the New York State Game Day Cheerleading Championships!

Our girls - the Class C1 champions - punched their ticket to states by topping C2 champion Aquinas by one tenth of one point last month at sectionals.

The state championships are set for Sunday, Nov. 8. Class C routines begin at 9:10 a.m. with Avon slated to go on at 9:25 a.m.

Best of luck, River Hawks - fly high Sunday!
