Students tackle service at ‘Freshman Academy’ sessions

Service took center stage yesterday at our second freshman academy session of the school year.

Members of the class of 2030 spread out across our district and beyond, rolling up their sleeves to help make a positive difference in their community.

Our students helped clean and did a bit of yardwork at the Avon Free Library, weeded and planted daffodils, crocuses and hyacinths in our Rotary Garden and rotated through several elementary school classrooms to lead our younger students in activities meant to explore the importance of gratitude.

Proud of our freshman class for stepping up yesterday - give ‘em a hand for a job well done!
