Veterans Days 5K returning for 5th annual edition

Mark you calendars, Avon, because our 5th annual Veterans Day 5K is fast approaching! 

This year’s race is set for Saturday, Oct. 24. The 800-meter kids fun run starts at 9:30 a.m. and the 5K starts at 10 a.m. Packet pick up for both events begins at 8:30 a.m.  at Avon Middle School, 191 Clinton St.

The fun run is free with a donated food item. The 5K costs $10 for those under 18, $25 for individuals and $50 for families. Veterans run for free and as always, all proceeds will go to benefit Livingston County veterans. 

Runners and spectators are asked to park solely at Avon Middle School.
