Let’s send some congratulations and good vibes out to our student musicians selected to perform in this weekend’s All-County 1 music festival at Perry Central Schools! 

Student musicians from each of the Genesee Valley School Music Association’s 12 component school districts selected for Elementary Band and Jr. Chorus rehearsed together as groups this afternoon and will re-assemble tomorrow morning before their performance Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

Members of the Elementary Band were selected based on teacher recommendations while members of the Jr. Chorus auditioned at a solo-festival earlier this year and were selected based on their scores. 

We had 12 students selected for this year’s All-County 1 festival - 9 for Jr. Chorus and 3 for Elementary Band.
