Avon athletics had another great spring season with the teams finishing strong at the end, with two more Section V championship crowns going to the baseball and softball teams (this was softball’s first-ever title). These brought the year’s total of Section V titles to six; the most of any school district in the GLOW region.
The Braves also had the following spring teams finishing second during sectionals: Livonia /
Avon lacrosse and the girls track & field teams.
