We hope your student(s) had a great first day back from Spring Break.
We have been informed of two additional students who have tested positive for COVID-19. The first is a grade 9 student. The collective contact tracing did not indicate any additional quarantines based on known dates of attendance.
The second student who tested positive for COVID-19 is in grade 10. Although this student is involved with JV Football, the collective contact tracing did not identify any additional contacts for quarantine based on football-related activities. However, the contact tracing process did identify additional contacts based on social interaction. The additional contacts have been notified.
Additional information is being sent home with JV Football players this afternoon. This information will also be sent directly to parents and guardians of JV Football players via email later this evening. The information shared may require prompt attention and action.
