Dear Avon Community,
Due to the temperature and heat index projections for this Tuesday and Thursday, the Avon School District will be dismissing UPK through grade 8 students early on these days (There is no school Wednesday for Juneteenth). We will follow what has traditionally been our early dismissal schedule as follows:
For Grades UPK-8:
UPK - Grade 4 will dismiss at approximately 12:55 PM on Tuesday and Thursday.
Grades 5 - 8 will dismiss at approximately 11:55 AM on Tuesday and Thursday.
Grade 8 - The Niagara Falls field trip scheduled for Thursday will not take place on Thursday. Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Campbell will follow up with additional details about this item.
We will follow the normal full-day schedule for all on Friday.
For Grades 9-12:
No changes. The end of year Regents testing times will be conducted as scheduled.
