Parent Teacher Association  

Avon PTA meetings are held in the Middle School conference room on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00pm.  Activities of the Avon PTA include: parent information meetings, PARP, Get Real About Tobacco, Second Step, Teacher Appreciation Day, annual Book Fair, participation in many school sponsored activities, and sponsorship of numerous school and community events.  Avon PTA's members have participated in many different school committees, including the School Improvement Team and the District Wide Planning Team.  Increasing parental involvement within the school is a major goal of the Avon PTA and Avon Primary School.  For more information regarding Avon PTA, contact our new Presidents, Mrs. Jill Yencer at 226-9171 and Mrs. Maria Hite at 226-2166 (PTA co-presidents) or click here.
