Avon CSD

The Avon Elementary School honors students 3 times per year that have exhibited great strength in our building and district values. Students are provided with a medal that they wear for an entire week leading up to an assembly program in their honor. At the assembly they receive a certificate.

Building excellent character in our students is important to the teachers and staff at Avon Elementary School. As part of our PBIS initiative we have incorporated our Hawk Hero Program to help us teach students about behavior expectations. Students are encouraged to practice showing good character at school, at home, and in their community.

Teachers and staff watch for students who can be chosen as a Hawk Hero for exemplifying our building and district values on a consistent basis. Students are chosen based on teacher and staff input.
